Am a poor DIY er so need help. I need to change a drak wood coffee table into white colour. How do I do this?
What steps and what products. Please help?
Do you want to have the grain still show through?? If you don't then just sand lightly, prime, then paint. If you do want the grain to show, you are going to have to remove all the old stain by sanding the finish until it gets to the natural wood color and then do a white-wash finish over it.
