Thermal Coffee Maker
12 cup thermal coffee maker?
I am looking to buy a 12 cup thermal coffee maker. I do not want to but anything that makes less than 12 cups and want a carafe instead of a glass pot and heater. Not interested in cheap units that will not last. Have been looking at the AquaBrew TE 116 but can't find much infomation.

In a previous answer I had to research cup sizes and found a great inconsistency in cup size to the actual carafe size.
Home Depot is selling the Bunn Model # BTXB which is a 10 cup but 50 oz pot size with a thermal Carafe for only $149. I like the Bunn as it has a holding tank so the water is always at the right temp. The Aqua Brew brags it does not have a holding tank but hey, so do the thousands of cheepo brewers at discount stores everywhere.
You could look for a Bunn airpot systems too.
What I personally do is brew my coffee in a large french press and then pour it into a Thermal carafe. Better coffee then either machine PLUS it is about the same price as a cheepo discount drip machine.
I do not know if your doing this for commercial reasons or just personal though.
