How do you make iced coffee flavoring/ syrup?
I want to make a coffee syrup for iced coffee but I do not know how.
For example how do I make french vanilla flavoring?
You can buy it, but you really can't make it.
What I do is, I buy flavored roasted coffee, (I have chocolate truffle right now) brew it and put it in a pitcher in the fridge to let it get cold. I make a simple syrup (which you can also buy) of equal parts sugar and water warmed on the stove until the sugar dissolves. I put that in a small covered pitcher in the fridge and let it cool.
When I want an iced coffee, I pour some coffee in a glass with ice, add some simple syrup, a tiny bit of milk, and stir. Then I have a nice cheap iced coffee.
