I have an intermittant problem with my Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker. Most of the time it works fine.?

I have an intermittant problem with my Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker. Most of the time it works fine. But about every third or fourth time, it won’t start perking or it may start after different delays in time. It may start in 2 minutes or in 2 hours or not at all. Any ideas?

Any recent overflows? If purchased under a year ago call the manufacturer and request a replacement. Make sure they send a "call-tag" for your old unit, otherwise you'll have to pay the shipping.
