has anyone tried the dunkin donuts coffee on the supermarket shelf?

i bought the whole beans and ground it up in my coffee grinder. i am a huge fan of dunkin donuts coffee .. but this coffee is quite nasty. it doesn't really taste much like the kind at dunkin donuts. i experimented every which way with strength, amount of water and such .. and i still prefer my maxwell house at home.

i doubt the coffee at the shop is the exact same coffee beans or blend as the kind on store shelves which is why I have stayed away from DD on the shelf. It's really a matter of taste which is a good type of coffee. I've found Seattle's Best to be pretty good, Breakfast Blend and French Roast. My dad just got some Gevalia through the mail, and the Breakfast blend is pretty good. There are so many different brand and types, and so little time to drink it.
