China Coffee Sets

some sets of china have both a teacup & coffee cup. How do you know which is which?
The tea cup should be taller and less round (shaped more like it has a waist) and the coffee cup is shorter and more rounded.
I started thinking more about this so I asked this question on the web site at the bottom and this is the answer I recieved:
"The tea cup might be smaller than the coffee cup in a set of fine china, however, that might depend upon where the set of china was made and the date it was produced. If there are two cups, the more delicate of the two would most likely be the tea cup."
